Dropping off and Parking
There is a dropping-off point right outside the main entrance of the theatre and free parking. If you are a blue badge holder, the car parkers will guide you to an appropriate parking space.
Entering the Theatre
The box office, picnic tables, Carmen Room restaurant and bar, accessible toilets and cloakroom are all on the ground floor. Please call the box office to reserve a table with easy access to all facilities if you wish to dine downstairs.
Accessible Toilets
The theatre has 2 accessible toilets. These are located in the foyer and Carmen Room restaurant.
Accessible Catering Facilities
There are ramps to all areas on the ground floor. Tables with easy access to the main foyer and auditorium can be booked through the box office.
Access to our Auditorium
The theatre has 7 wheelchair spaces. It is possible for companions to sit near to wheelchair users in the auditorium. It is also possible for wheelchair users to transfer into a theatre seat (limited number). Wheelchair access is available on ground level seats in the side aisles and row D. Please book for this facility through the box office in advance when you book your tickets so that we can reserve them and the adjoining seats for anyone else in your party.

Row D (ground level)
Rows A-C (below stage level) and rows E-S and U are raked
Rows V and W are balcony seating
Our balcony seating is accessible by stairs only. Balcony seating is approximately 30 ft above the main stage and is not recommended for very young children and those with mobility restrictions.
Assistance Dogs (Guide Dogs & Hearing Dogs)
Assistance dogs can be taken into the auditorium, but please tell the box office when booking your seat that you are bringing your dog. Please mention this when booking and we can allocate suitable seats. Alternatively, you can leave your dog with a member of staff in the foyer and we can arrange for a bowl of water for them. Again, please call the box office in advance if you wish us to provide this service on 01260 224 514.
Hearing Loop
Funding has now been secured for this facility. We hope this will be installed within 2025.
Relaxed Performances*
Currently, there are two relaxed Tea With… performances per year. There may be other opportunities – Please contact the box office to enquire.
*A relaxed performance is a show that has been adapted to suit people who might require a more relaxed environment, including (but not limited to) adults or children with learning difficulties, those with autistic spectrum and other sensory communication disorders. This we extend to include those with dementia and other related conditions.
Financial Accessibility
Clonter offers free tickets to 26-year-olds and under, blue light card holders, and those attending food banks.
Discounted tickets are also offered to U3A members, groups of 10+ and ‘Early Bird’ bookers.
